Prices & Policies
When you call/text/email, you can expect a quick consult where we will do our best to inform the customer of any possible quick remedies and/or an honest recommendation of the correct action that may be needed to repair the problem at the time of the conversation.
Service Fee ($150) - For an appointment within 40 miles of our location (additional distance charges may apply, see below). The charge covers a general inquiry of the repair/service to be performed via phone/email, technician prep time and fuel to service location as well as one half hour of diagnosis and repair upon arrival at property.
- The appointment is not considered on our schedule until the service fee is submitted by the customer.
- The service fee can be discounted if multiple calls are within the same location of the same day.
- A discounted service fee may be applied for a return visit due to any special order parts needed for repair on a separate scheduled day.
Extra Distance Service Fee (beyond 40 miles)
Up to 60 miles: $180.00
Up to 80 miles: $200.00
Over 80 miles will be reviewed and discussed with customer
*Note: If a customer is located at a RV park, it is the customer responsibility to confirm that the RV park allows technicians to work on premises. No refunds will be issued due to refusal of admission onto the property. If a park or campground charges a fee for the technician to enter the property, the fee will be passed to the customer in billing.
Hourly Rate - Standard hourly rate charged after the first initial half hour of diagnosis and service. This rate is billed in ¼ hour increments.
Parts - We try our very best to keep common needed parts in stock and on the truck. But with thousands of manufacturers in the RV industry it is inevitable that certain repairs may require trips to suppliers and/or special orders.
-All parts are subject to manufacturer warranty. Adventure Bound RV Service & Repair, LLC is in no way responsible for any manufacturer defects or faulty parts. We can and will work with the customer to help with any manufacturer warranty claims.
- Any parts not on truck will require payment up front before ordering and are subject to vender or manufacturer's cancellation and return policies.
- We are not responsible for any parts delayed or lost in shipping.
Service Exceptions - Unfortunately at this time due to our small operation there may be situations where we can not perform services that require slides to be pulled out of units, tanks to be dropped, full roof replacements or engine/chassis repairs.
- Certain situations may be considered unsafe and/or hazardous. We will work with the customer in order to remedy the situation. If it is determined that the situation is too unsafe we reserve the right to refuse service under such conditions.
Warranty & Insurance Claims - We will work with manufacturers and insurance to provide all necessary diagnosis and estimates required for your claim only. We will not file a claim for you or seek payment via the warranty or insurance company. Full payment is due by the customer and is the responsibility of the customer to file for reimbursement from the manufacturer or insurance company at all times.
*In any event where we are forced to work and file under a warranty claim and the company does not pay, payment becomes the sole responsibility of the customer and the customer must seek reimbursement from the warranty company at fault of non payment.
Payments Accepted - All payments are due upon completion of service/repair. Currently we use QuickBooks for payment processing and accept all major credit/debit cards as well as cash. Sorry, we do not accept checks, BitCoin, Apple or Google pay at this time.
Cancellations & Refunds of Scheduled Appointments - Refunds may be issued on scheduled appointments under the following conditions:
- Customer cancellations within 48 hours of scheduled appointment time will be refunded at 100%, less any banking processing fees.
- Customer cancellations within 24 hours of scheduled appointment time will be refunded at 50%, less any banking processing fees.
- Technician cancellations will be refunded at 100% or service fee applied to a reschedule at an agreed upon date.
Additional Information - We strive to be a paperless business in an effort to perform more efficiently and reduce our carbon footprint where we can . Payment receipts, confirmations, etc will be delivered electronically. We also may use current mobile technology to take pictures/video, write reports and document repairs. The customer may be required to sign an agreement for legal use of any photos and videos used in diagnosis, repair, education and marketing.
